I'm Charli Van Essen, founder of Essential Executive, a business operations consultancy based in the Macedon Ranges region of Victoria, Australia. I started this business after more than two decades working across trades, utilities, FMCG, field service management, logistics, manufacturing, finance, retail, health, education and not-for-profit, to bring that same operational rigour to businesses that don't have an in-house ops team of their own.
I work with Australian startups, small and micro businesses, and established companies who know their operations could run more smoothly, but don't have the time or in-house expertise to fix it themselves. My approach is clear process development paired with hands-on technical proficiency, so the systems I build actually get used.
